Your First Honest Decision
Recovery doesn't begin with having the perfect words. Sometimes it begins with admitting that something needs to change.
Why are you here?
Maybe you're exhausted. Maybe something happened that frightened you. Maybe you've been thinking about making a change for a long time.
Whatever brought you here, your reasons matter. You don't need to prove them to anyone.
Take a moment to ask yourself: What has alcohol been costing me, and what do I hope to regain?
Find what matters to you
Recovery can create room for things that may have felt out of reach: peace, trust, health, relationships, financial stability, or simply waking up without regret.
Choose the reasons that feel meaningful to you. They don't have to sound impressive. They only have to be yours.
Progress begins with honesty
You may feel hopeful and afraid at the same time. You may want change and still feel attached to drinking.
Those mixed feelings don't disqualify you from beginning. Recognizing them is part of understanding yourself.
You can be uncertain about the future and still take a meaningful step today.

You don't have to know exactly who you'll become.
You only have to decide that your life is worth showing up for.
One day. One decision. A new beginning.
